To those who have prayed for my uncle,

Thank you for all your prayers these last fe months. Our family has been so blessed to have so many people think of us. God called my uncle home last wednesday, 8/1. He was surrounded by many and was lifted in praise for almost two hours after as well. Thankfully everything was taken care of last weekend. Its going to be definitely different but in all things, God has His plans. All the glory to Him

someone needs to put a filter on my tumblr posts. They’re all so… depressing, complaining, just sad… I just deleted a good number of them. :)

its 6AM in the morning, surprising was able to get up with no alarm. Lately have been dreaming way too many dreams and waking up exhausted. So much for a good night’s sleep.

If only I could study and sit in one spot like I did at Seventh Home Cafe yesterday, I would do so well in school :( Time to practice :D

So I was listening to this video (amazing arrangement by the way) and my cousins:

I didn’t know what to say. hahahahaha oh goodness. anyways this song arrangement is still pretty amazing. good study music :)

oh and my mom is now wanting me to look into occupational therapy or speech therapy.. its interesting how many paths are open.

update on my uncle: He’s okay, vitamin C is amazingly working well on him (no symptoms while he’s on IV drip other than nausea) but still taking morphine and not eating. sigh. please continue to pray. Though I would love to go home, I’m staying with my cousins, hoping to be of a small encouragement by reading the bible morning/night, throughout the day.

prayers for my uncle please!

lung cancer has now spread all across, and our only hope is in the Lord.
He came home today but hasn’t been able to eat anything (or hasn’t eaten anything) so he’s pretty much energy-less and in pain. I’m pretty much living at my cousin’s to make sure my aunt can take care of him while I take the youngest cousins to school, etc.

He’s been going to church, praying, etc ever since our family started going to church during my dad’s sickness but after talking to my aunt, he needs alot of personal healing, etc. My aunt’s been reading the bible to him and praying with him but he’s pretty stubborn :( During my time here, hopefully given the chance to read the bible with him, do qt with my cousins, and be an encouragement here.

Its weird. I’m so easily able to share my heart, scripture, and thoughts to people but its really hard (even for me) to share with my family. I guess it’s been a constant struggle and now God’s giving us the chance. We’ve all acknowledged, talked that we go to church but never really had the chance to fully share the gospel with each other, more than the usual sayings, etc.

please pray for my cousins, they’re the two youngest in the family so I’m more worried for them more than anything. The older is finishing up freshman year in high school and the younger is graduating elementary school tomorrow. They’ve only heard what I went through when I was younger but I’m sure they have their own hurts and thoughts too. They don’t know the severity of the cancer yet (in hospice now).

I’ve never had someone love my baking this much (other than Eurie’s crazy obsession for my oatmeal cookies). This girl went crazy over red velvet cupcakes, and now my chocolate-slightly coffee cake.

I’ll bring something more yummy next time I visit!

and when you come over during your summer break, I’ll definitely make more desserts
